Art Walk in Puerto Vallarta's Historic District and Dinner at No Sé Nada

From October to End of June

Colectika Gallary is Stop #1 on the Art Walk

Wednesday was our first time touring the Puerto Vallarta Historic District Art Walk galleries. We visited most Official Member Art Walk galleries, beginning with #1 on the map, Colectika. I enjoyed that gallery the most. The friendly young man who welcomed us at the door explained the art and artists we were interested in.

Part of the fun of the Art Walk is that the Historic District is more than art galleries. We saw beautiful murals, old Spanish architecture, and many good restaurants along the route.

We Love the Old Wood and Metal Doors

We chose to have dinner at No Sé Nada, across the street from the last galleries on the map. It’s one of our favorite restaurants and a good value. We both had the salmon with sauteed spinach, mashed potatoes, and a delicious creamy wine sauce. We always order our salmon well done, bien cocido, so this photo shows it grilled more than the chef typically serves. The upstairs terrace is our favorite place to dine, and it's now open during the rainy season since they've added a roof and awning.

The Historic District Art Walk continues through June 28th, Wednesdays from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. It will resume in October or November. I recommend the walk, just off the Malecón. Three more Art Walk Wednesdays this month!
